About Jason

The Honorable Jason Lewis (R-MN) represented Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional district in the 115th Congress. In Congress, he was a leader in the America First movement and was described as both “a serious policy wonk” and a “leader in the battle to pass” health care reform. Lewis then became the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in 2020.

Prior to serving in Washington, Lewis was a veteran broadcaster and host of the nationally syndicated Jason Lewis Show as well as a popular fill-in for the Rush Limbaugh program.

Lewis holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa, a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado-Denver and is the author of Power Divided is Power Checked (2010) and Party Animal, The Truth About President Trump, Power Politics & the Partisan Press (2022). He currently writes Jason’s Newsletter (jasonlewis.substack.com) and is a Substack ‘bestseller.’
